Vidushi Dhathri H. Kumar is the founder and principal of our institution. Born in Hassan, Karnataka, Dhathri began her Carnatic music journey at the age of five and has trained under renowned gurus including Gaana Kalaa Shri Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar, Sangeeta Kalanidhi Neyveli R. Santhanagopalan, and Padmashri awardee Vid. R.N. Thyagarajan.
A gold medalist in Music and a graded artist of All India Radio, she is celebrated for her versatile style, strict adherence to tradition, and her ability to captivate audiences through shruthi, laya, and bhava. She has performed across prestigious platforms in India and has been honored with accolades including the Sangeetha Kousthubha award and a scholarship from Sri D. Subbaramaiah Fine Arts Trust.
With a Master’s in English Literature and Karnataka Sangeetha, Dhathri is also a passionate educator, training students across the globe with dedication and love. Her vision is to inspire and nurture future generations with the rich values of Carnatic music.
